Founded in 1948,Allied Building Service (ABS) is a second-generation, family-owned company headquartered in Detroit, Michigan. We specialize in comprehensive facility maintenance, construction, and a wide range of specialized building services, including high-rise window washing, janitorial solutions, and electrical contracting. Our team proudly serves commercial and municipal clients throughout the Midwest and across the nation.
Through meticulous project management and tailored solutions, we’ve built a strong reputation for excellence in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, docks and doors, and high-rise window cleaning. Our commitment to teamwork and adaptability ensures we meet the evolving needs of the industry.
In November 2025, Allied Building Service partnered with Continuum Services, a leading facility management provider headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Continuum delivers a comprehensive suite of solutions, including facility engineering and operations, energy management, mobile maintenance, and HVAC/refrigeration. Their offerings also include exterior solutions such as asphalt maintenance, snow removal and de-icing, and comprehensive landscape care. These functions integrate with our operations and reinforce our commitment to shared values.
This strategic partnership combines Allied’s expertise with Continuum’s established platforms; immediately expanding our reach and impact.
