CBP Border Control

 agspec 5f320Allied is in the proces of completing a 13,000 sq. ft. build out for CBP (Customs and Border Patrol) located at the foot of the Ambassador bridge in Detroit MI .

Construction consisted of steel stud construction including undisclosable security features.  Sound proof ratings of 50 STC for rooms and doors.

Electrical consisted of new service, new panels, new lighting with light harvesting sensors. New data and fiber ran through out project space.

HVAC – Plumbing included new A/C units, VAV boxes and the reworking of the existing building system placement of condensers on the roof top. Plumbing included radiant panels, new supplies for kitchens and break rooms, heat trace piping. A new fire suppression system was installed in the project area.

New duress and intercom system installed for end user. Included cameras card access and alarm system and fire alarm system.

Finishes include, ceramic tile, VCT, carpet tiles, broad loom carpet, anti-static raised flooring, paint and wallcovering.

Specialty item for this project was a video wall that is integrated to communicate with other CBP stations across the United States. This wall displays border crossing points of entry. This wall is used for national security to monitor and dispatch agents in case of emergencies.
